About us

WELTGRUND AG

WELTGRUND AG is a Swiss family-owned company.
It was founded in 2005 to continue something - and to start something new at the same time.

Over three decades of work in corporate communications, coaching and personal development have led to the realization that change needs more than strategies: it needs places, attitude and responsibility.
The focus shifted from pure consulting to sustainability, ecology and concrete action - and resulted in the Fundo Laguna Blanca project in Chile.

WELTGRUND AG combines entrepreneurial experience with ecological responsibility.
Our activities include:

  • Change communication (coaching, training, workshops, concepts and implementation of change processes)
  • Finding innovations and procuring sustainable solutions in the areas of mobility, energy, heating and ecological living - from Europe to Chile
  • Acquisition, protection and management of exceptional natural properties
  • Operation of ecological projects in forestry, agriculture, energy management and themed tourism

WELTGRUND is therefore not an abstract concept, but an operational platform for sustainable implementation.

The origins of WELTGRUND AG lie in Bentzien Kommunikation GmbH in Germany.
For over 30 years, Beate Knust and Hajo Bentzien and their team accompanied major change processes:

  • Ø € 3 million consulting turnover per year
  • Ø 25 employees
  • 55th place among the 100 largest communications agencies in Germany
  • Development and pioneering work in change process communication since 1987
  • Supporting over one million people in change processes
  • Customers from AXA, Deutsche Lufthansa, Deutsche Telekom to Volkswagen and SMEs

In 2002, ERFOLGSGUT was born - an approach for holistic personal development, tested for several years in Germany.

The next logical step was internationalization - and consistent implementation in a real, living project: Chile.

Switzerland was deliberately chosen as the location:
as a place for networking with leading experts, as a bridge for partners, investors and joint ventures.

Chile was chosen because there is space there.
Space for nature, for responsibility, for long-term thinking.

Today, WELTGRUND AG is a meeting place for people who do not discuss sustainable, ecological ideas but want to implement them - and bring projects to maturity.

The founders of WELTGRUND AG are living what many have only recently begun to formulate:

„The economy has done its job.
Now it's all about a happy life.
To do this, we need a new type of entrepreneurial thinking.“
- LOHAS Report, 2015

Change does not come about through systems alone.
It is created by people.

Or, as we have been saying for decades:

„If you want to conquer markets, you have to conquer people.“
„If you want to move the world, you have to move people.“

The people behind it

Together with partners and family, WELTGRUND stands for an attitude that unites: Experience, courage and the willingness to truly embrace change.
Hajo Bentzien

Hajo Bentzien

Hajo Bentzien is a communications consultant, trainer and coach. After early management positions, he founded his first own company in 1970 and built up one of the most influential agencies for change process communication in Germany over the decades.

As a „people mover“, he supports organizations and people according to his R.E.V. principle (rational, emotional, vital). As a project developer at WELTGRUND AG, he has been involved in the development of Fundo Laguna Blanca in Chile since 2007. Today he is Chairman of the Board of Directors, advises in the background and passes on his experience.

His second great passion is horses: He has been breeding warmbloods since 1974 - some of them also accompany the project in Chile. Fundo Laguna Blanca is more than just a project for him: it is his life's work.

Beate Knust-Bentzien

Beate Knust-Bentzien is a coach, equestrian coach and communications consultant. After studying economics, she started out as a business journalist and later worked for many years as a copywriter, editor and strategic consultant for corporate communications.

In 2002, she developed ERFOLGSGUT - a space for personal development in which people could rediscover themselves, using horses, movement and systemic approaches, among other things. Today, her focus is on coaching, working with people and horses and developing the ERFOLGSGUT project Fundo Laguna Blanca in Chile.

For over three decades, she shaped Bentzien Kommunikation GmbH as managing partner. In addition to her professional work, horses, riding, listening and a keen sense for people are her constant companions.

Marco Bentzien

Welcome to the most beautiful end of the world
